Matthew J. Straw
Matt obtained his law degree (J.D.) from the University of Saskatchewan in 2013. Before that, he obtained his Bachelor of Arts Political Science from Simon Fraser University.
After completing his articles at another lower mainland firm, and being called to the British Columbia Bar in 2014, Matt joined the firm’s Vancouver office as litigation associate.
Matt’s practice areas include personal injury litigation, insurance defence litigation, and general civil litigation. He has represented clients in the Supreme Court and Provincial Court of British Columbia on a variety of civil litigation matters.
During law school, Matt was one of two student managers at C.L.A.S.S.I.C., a non-profit pro bono legal clinic in Saskatoon, where he represented low-income clients in Saskatchewan Provincial Court on criminal and civil matters.
