Robert D Shaw
Bob Shaw earned his law degree from the University of Alberta and he has been practicing as a lawyer in British Columbia since 1994. He obtained an undergraduate degree from Simon Fraser University, and a commercial pilot’s license. He was a partner at a large national law firm before joining Eyford Macaulay Shaw & Padmanabhan LLP. Bob is a litigation lawyer who practices from the firm’s offices located in West Kelowna and Vancouver.
Bob’s primary areas of practice are insurance law, complex personal injury, and commercial litigation. His experience in these areas includes products liability, property damage claims, motor vehicle, aviation, railway, trucking and transportation claims, disability insurance, catastrophic injury claims, fire and flood loss, contract disputes, insurance coverage, and sports and recreations matters. Bob acts for a wide range of clients based locally, throughout Canada and in the United States.
Bob has extensive courtroom experience appearing at the Provincial, Supreme and Appellate Court levels. He is also skilled in mediation and has completed a mediation program at Harvard University Law School.
